Mark S. Ticotin is a Managing Director of Lazard Alternative Investments LLC (“LAI”) and a Managing Principal of Lazard Real Estate Partners LLC ("LREP"). He is responsible for real estate principal investment activities. He is also a member of LAI’s real estate investment committees.
Mr. Ticotin is Chief Executive Officer of Intown Suites Management, Inc. (“Intown”), an extended-stay hotel company, and a member of the membership committee of Intown Holding Company, L.L.C., the parent company of Intown, and is Chairman of Kimsouth Realty, Inc., a shopping center company. He also serves as a director and is on the Executive Committee of Atria Senior Living Group, Inc., an assisted living company. He has overseen a number of portfolio company investments including serving in officer and director capacities.
Previously, Mr. Ticotin was Senior Executive Vice President of Simon Property Group, created by the merger of Simon DeBartolo Group and Corporate Property Investors (“CPI”). Mr. Ticotin was President and Chief Operating Officer of CPI at the time of the merger in 1998. From 1988 to 1997, he was Senior Vice President of CPI responsible for the leasing, legal and marketing departments. He joined CPI as Vice President in 1983. Prior thereto, he was an attorney with the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
Mr. Ticotin is a member of various industry associations including the Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
