Our principal areas of investment include communications; enterprise or infrastructure software; and technology-enabled financial-, business-, and information services.
For earlier-stage investments, we prefer companies in the New England/mid-Atlantic region.
We prefer to be a company’s first institutional investor, irrespective of company stage, and selectively invest in companies that have already received outside institutional funding.
We typically invest an initial amount of $2 million to $8 million and generally reserve up to a total of $15 million to $20 million for the lifetime of an investment. We will bring investment partners to complete financings, as appropriate.
We seek to invest in companies where our domain-focused relationships and operating experience, whether directly or our affiliates, can help the management team accelerate the company’s growth.
