Mr. Rana joined LTP in 2000 and is a Principal of the firm. Prior to joining LTP in 2000, Mr. Rana was a Vice President in Lazard Group's Financial Institutions Group, where he was a member of teams advising on 24 completed strategic advisory assignments, representing over $45 billion of transaction equity value, including merger, acquisition, disposition and restructuring transactions.

Mr. Rana's clients included securities processors, investment managers, depository institutions and investment banks, and his transactions included two of the largest, at announcement, U.S. depository institutions transactions and the first major purchase by an institutional investor of an interest in a private equity firm. Prior to joining Lazard Group, Mr. Rana was a consultant in A.T. Kearney Inc.'s Financial Institutions/Services Practice.

Mr. Rana has led LTP’s investments in, and currently serves as LTP’s board representative for, FNX Limited, Inc., GoldK Inc., Marketing Technology Solutions, Inc. and Princeton eCom, Inc. Mr. Rana graduated with honors from Columbia College (New York, NY) and is based in New York.

Mr. Rana’s areas of investment focus include business process applications and services and technology-enabled financial and information services.
